Just got back from Fontana raceway. Dismal 1/4 mile time but I already felt something was wrong with this car from day one. Dealersays car is normal since there is no check engine light, but it is SLOW.. my ford fusion non turbo can keep right up with my ATS 2.0 turbo rwd automatic. 16.77 at 81 mph. .198 reaction time with sport engaged and traction control off. No wheel spin at all, 2.34 60ft. The mph shows car falling flat on its face. This is pitiful, any suggestions as to what might be wrong? I took intake off to see if turbo was free or locked up, it spins freely. I'm at a loss. I'm so disappointed with this car. Any help is greatly appreciated.
BTW, launch was very good. Also to note, I've never ever seen more than 14-15 ish psi boost on a very quick spike. The turbo is clean, free moving, and all compressor fins intact no damage. No CEL light, and dealer says my car is normal, and if it was boosint too low the CEL light would have come on. That would be the first time, I have ever heard of a CEL light for too low of boost.
