Any way to remove mileage from dash?

As the title states, is it possible for the mileage not to show up? I played around the car and search the forums but the general consensus is it cant be done from what Im finding. Just wanted to check if there was something I was missing. Just dont want to see that I put on 100 miles in a day on my new car :suspect:
