As my understand goes, after switching to new rims/tires with new TPMS sensors, they need to be relearned. It appears, unlike my 2010 Camaro in which no external/additional tool is required, that we need a TPMS relearn tool for the ATS to accept the new sensors.
I'm debating if purchasing the tool ($100) is a wash to taking it to the dealership? I'm interested in what other folks have done for those of you that have replaced your original rims and tires.
If you have purchased a relearn TPMS tool, could you recommend the type?
