I love this car, and it is clearly designed for a DIY in mind.
Doing rear diff fluid change for this year's auto-x season
Jack the car up
A) there's a jacking point puck built into the front subframe (which is where I like to jack) highly convienient (means you can then do both stands at once!)
B) Getting a little side-tracked here but I <3 how GM inverts the oil filters= no mess on the engine, even if the bypass valve fails it's basically a fail-safe design so dirty oil will never recirculate back to the engine.
C) rear diff plugs are magnetic (they should be in a LSD , but not every manufacturer does this still)
D) When I first spied the plugs, I thought they were allen, I was wrong. They're 3/8" square plug= you take them off with a ratchet= amazeballs for anyone with a small toolkit(like one you might take to a track) and no extensions needed(the exhaust is right next to it).
I'll have this done within 30min tops.
