Just as a public service announcement, I was able to upgrade the brakes on my 2014 2.0T Premium ATS using the Front and Rear brembos from a 2016 Camaro SS.
It took:
Front and rear Calipers.
Front and rear Camaro SS brake hoses. The rear hoses are quite a bit different than the ATS single piston caliper hose. The Front is almost identical, but the ATS hose is slightly shorter.
Front and rear Camaro SS rotors.
Front Camaro SS rotor dust shield. Could just leave this off or possibly use a Zl1 partial dust shield for a little better cooling if necessary.
Rear Camaro SS rotor dust shield. This is a must have and the parking brake has to be swapped from the old to the new. The ATS dust shield will interfere with the Camaro rotor if you try to use it.
4X 2016 Camaro V6 hubs. These convert the car from 5X115 to 5X120 and also accept the 30 spline axles my car had. The Camaro SS has larger 34 spline axles, those hubs won't work.
2 new axle nuts.
Everything literally bolts right on.
I would think one could also use the Camaro V6 hubs and swap to ATS-V brakes, but those would cost a lot more. I got everything I needed off Ebay for around $500. Performance so far has been a significant updated over the regular ATS stuff on track. Pad wear on the brembos versus the single piston rear calipers is dramatically improved.
Car originally had 18X8 front and 18X9 rear. I went to 18X9 front and rear so I can rotate tires. 255/35-18 front and rear. 30mm offset front, 35 mm offset rear.
255/35-18 fits on the front.. but it pokes out just a hair. I also put some eccentric camber bolts in the front. 255 just clears the fender but I don't think a 265 would fit.
Hope this helps someone out there.. would be nice to see some more ATS out at the track. Car handles great!
