PCM ECU location?

I think I read somewhere it is behind the kick panel to the rear of the glove box. Is this accurate? If so I found 2 small bolts which I removed, but the panel isn't coming off. What am I missing? I have a 2014 ats 2.0t 6mt.

Also whats the procedure to change? Anything I need to do other than disconnect the battery?
