This weekend the amber emmisions light came on in the 14' ATS 2.0. The car has under 2K miles on it, so I doubt it is a major problem, but I was surprised to see that. It recently snowed for the first time this year but I have been using the same gas I normally do and the gas cap was secure (the two things the manuel tells you to check on first), so I will probably have to call the dealer tomorrow and maybe set up a visit. It is also too bad that OnStar does not allow you to run a online diagnostic check on demand. It does it automatically every 30 days and then send you an e-mail, but if you have a problem in-between those you think you could manually run a check online and get result right away. But anyway, has anyone else had this issue and what did it turn out to be? The warning light flashes if it is a bigger problem and at that point you are not supossed to drive the car, that is not the case with me, I just have the steady amber light on.
